newspaper. It is folded to display the Moore article.
This is John Murray's parlor where the manuscript was burned in the fireplace. Standing on the right, is Lord Byron talking to Sir Walter Scott. --- The room is the same now as it was then (except for electric lighting ) including the portrait of Byron over the fireplace.
Note: With the present Mrs. Murray's permission, I took this photo of a framed sketch that is sitting on the bookcase.
